Hey Katz,
Well Lingo’s life has been very hectic lately… With writing, and working, and working and writing and being a mom and a woman and a lover and a mother.
I needed a breather…. {breathing in deeeeeeply}
annnnnnnd exhaling.
So, I’m gone to Cuba. To the North Coast of Cuba, where Che Guevera was born. I can be found on a remote island, which interestingly used to be Fidel’s personal private island, until recently when it turned into a remote resort. I’m going to write while on the beach tanning and drinking mojitos, where I will be feeling slightly different than I do when i’m writing in the 10 - 20 minute intervals of “free” time I have on any given day (which sometimes, is an overstatement).
Thanks for your continued support and enjoyment of words. I love you all and look forward to a rejuvenated return. I’m sure i’ll come back with some interesting inspiration. A few cigars, some mojitos, drunk tourists and a foreign country… definitely the makings of some new lingo work (coming soon to a site near you).
xoxo
Lingo

Che is an Argentinian.
He was not born in Cuba.

Comment by Omnipotent Poobah April 20, 2007 @ 8:59 pmSure rub it in, we can’t go there down here in America, Sr. I hear their beaches are awesome. I know someone that “snuck” over there. Amazing how they use American dollars for currency.

Pingback by A Link Love Idea - Untwisted Vortex - Living in a Different Land April 25, 2007 @ 12:40 amThanks everyone! I had a great time!!! I do realize Che is not Cuban, he’s Argentinian… I meant to say his “hometown” rather than his birthplace… We actually went to visit his memorial.
Anyway… Cuba was great. I drank like a fish, went to a cigar factory, checked out a few cities, and chilled on a couple of gorgeous beaches.
